NEW OXYGEN FOR QUANTUM GRAVITY / EMERGENT GRAVITY RESEARCH

 

 

New oxygen - Compiling his knowhow from Integrated Product Design [IPD] into Integrated Quantum Design [IQD], Master in Design Sciences Koenraad Van Spaendonck [Alumnus of the University of Antwerp UA 1995], injects new oxygen into theories of emergent gravity with a unifying character. Entailing a.o. the breeding ground for an analternative for bigbang & inflation scenario's, from first principles.

 

New causal principles - Emanating from the proposed discrete geometry, data-compression as energy density leads to a generalization of General Relativity. Submerging mass into a compressible fluid, as an analogy, the Discrete Contraction Coordinates [DCC] model the the physical processes governing gravity.

With this principle, we solve the Ehrenfest Paradox differently, featuring a Euclidean model underneath hyperbolic spacetime.

 

New solutions - The DCC-geometry intrinsically shows how an accelerated expansion of the universe can be an illusion, with alternatives for dark matter and

dark energy. The DCC-model forces us to reinterpret the meaning of length contraction from Special relativity, as energy density.. Renormalization can be

avoided by modelling a finite discrete field. ' Time ' is reinterpreted as a comparison of energy densities, modeled discontinuously, avoiding infinities.
